Experience
Daniel was trained in a renowned international firm Baker & Mckenzie in late 1980s before he first set up Or & Company in 1992. Daniel is now the founder and senior partner of Or & Partners. Daniel's unwavering passion is to help clients resolve problems in the most practical, cost-effective and amicable manner for their best interests. Daniel attended no less than 50 mediations each year with very high successful rate. Further, Daniel is also the head of the Employees' Compensation and Personal Injury Department. He has been specialising in personal injuries and insurance-related litigation since 1997. He has been handling more than 3,000 cases since his practice and advising charitable bodies on policies including employee claim assistance liability, motor vehicles third party risks and so forth. Daniel has handled certain number of complicated and substantial cases involving multiple parties, claims by minors, incapacitated persons and paralytic involving damages of over HK$20 million and accidents happened in PRC and overseas.
Apart from the legal practice, Daniel is also active in education and charity. He is now the director of Evangel Seminary, Evangel College and also the executive member of Ray Bakke Centre of Bethel Seminary and Global Leadership Summit. Daniel is also serving certain ministries like Jubilee Ministry and is a legal advisor to various churches and denominations such as Evangelical Free Church of China. Daniel is also the President of HappyMen Foundation Limited, which is a charitable arm to serve both rehabilitants and ethnic minorities.

Experience
Christie was trained and worked as a litigation lawyer in an international law firm in her earlier years of practice.
Christie is a commercial litigator and focuses her practice on construction and engineering matters. She has significant experience in litigation and arbitration as well as various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. She also has strong non-contentious experience in negotiation and drafting of construction and engineering-related contractual documentation, including EPC contracts, design consultancy agreements, and guarantees and warrantees.
Christie has represented international construction and engineering companies and employers involved in projects throughout Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Her recent experience includes the representation of an international construction contractor in a Hong Kong arbitration that resulted in a multimillion dollar award in the client's favor and the successful mediation in claims against an energy/oil and gas client by a main contractor in a power project in South East Asia.
Christie also advises clients on a variety of commercial disputes, including regulatory, insolvency, and contractual matters.
Christie actively participates in the preparation of seminars and workshops regarding trends and new developments in the construction industry in Hong Kong and mainland China for client workshops and industry seminars.
After joining the firm as partner, Christie has also co-led the Personal Injury Department with our senior partner Mr. Daniel Or, in particular specializing in the construction related injuries. Christie also organizes and holds seminars and workshops for construction related claims and legal developments. She speaks English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Ruby graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1987 with a LLB (Hons). She took the Solicitors' Final Exams in England in 1988 and was awarded a First Class Honour. She lived in Canada for a few years in the early 1990s and attended the University of Toronto and the Osgoode Hall Law School for her legal qualifications in Ontario.

Experience
Ruby has extensive experience addressing a wide range of issues involving corporate and commercial law, corporate finance and litigation in both Hong Kong and Canada. She has numerous years of experience with a City law firm and law firms in Toronto specializing in corporate finance, corporate acquisitions, amalgamations and reorganizations as well as sale and purchase of businesses. She worked as an in-house counsel with ExxonMobil in Hong Kong for over 13 years and has accumulated vast experience in the petroleum and petrochemical businesses.
Ruby joined Or & Partners as a Consultant in 2014 and became a partner in 2017.

Born in Hong Kong and fluent in both English and Cantonese, Oliver graduated in law at The University Of Wales in the United Kingdom. He also holds a Masters Degree in Advanced Legal Practice with Distinction from the University of Northumbria, England.

Experience
After graduating from University, Oliver worked in the motorsport and entertainment industries before returning to Hong Kong where he was recruited to work with one of the Big Four accounting firms to assist with the legal aspects of the administration of a high profile estate. Oliver is admitted to practice law as a solicitor in Hong Kong and has worked with international and prestigious law firms. In his spare time, Oliver is a keen athlete, martial artist, and health advocate.
Oliver joined Or & Partners as a Consultant in 2013 and became a partner in 2016.
